    Recommend it for solo travelers wanting comfort

    The staff were exceptional, especially Brigitt at reception, very accommodating and easy to talk to in multiple languages. Plus, the breakfast was a delightful spread, something for everyone, couldn't get enough of it!

    It wasn’t cheap, but still acceptable for the quality you get.

    From grilled steaks at Relish Restaurant & Bar to cozy vibes in the lobby, Westin rocks the culinary scene! The breakfast spread boasts fresh fruits and premium breads, fueling your Berlin adventures to the max.

    Had a bit of a hiccup when my flight got canceled, and the hotel wouldn’t budge on the cancellation fee, 130 extra pounds for rebooking was a total downer. To top it off, my room view was less than stellar – grey concrete instead of lush gardens.

    I felt immediately at home in the grand atmosphere, where modern design meets classic architecture.     The Westin offers a stunningly grand atmosphere with modern decor and a very welcoming environment.     The location of the Westin Grand is perfect for exploring Berlin. Just a short walk to the Brandenburg Gate and Museum Island. My room had a nice view and was spacious, maintaining a comfortable temperature even though summer was in full swing. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the quality linens. Breakfast offered an extensive selection of fresh fruits, pastries, and cooked-to-order eggs, which was a highlight each morning. However, during high occupancy, we waited a bit for seating at breakfast. One downside was the inconsistency with housekeeping. some days we didn't receive fresh towels or beverages replenished. The lobby was stunning, and the live pianist added a nice touch. While the hotel overall radiates grandeur, some areas felt a little dated. Also, I noticed that the sauna was only open in the afternoons and there was an extra fee for access, which was a letdown. Still, the friendly staff made sure we felt welcomed and catered to during our stay. I would return, hoping for improved housekeeping and more transparency regarding the spa and amenities.
